When we become dust and ashes, how could our minds exist?
Shortly after Jim tested positive for AIDS, he asked "If all the myriad things are dreams and illusions, then our own minds must be illusory too. Like a dream person who can no longer exist when the dreamer awakens, when we die our minds can no longer exist. When our bodies have become dust and ashes, how could our minds still exist?"
Louie Wing said, "Illusions are false perceptions of reality; a dream person is composed of a dreamer's mind. When an illusion is seen through, the reality that was falsely perceived does not cease to exist. When a dreamer awakens, the mind that the dream person was composed of does not cease to be. Your body and mind consists of the vast unnamable fathomless void. When you die, the void, which is your true essence does not cease to exist."
